2025 Kindle Unlimited Releases

Looking at the rest of this year, I am pretty darn excited about the releases we’re getting! I did already write a post on all the 2025 releases I was looking forward to, but today’s is all about the Kindle Unlimited releases. KU is about $12 a month for access to 1000s of books in all kinds of genres. These are the new releases from authors I love on KU!

February:

  • 25 – The Charlie Method by Elle Kennedy | Elle Kennedy wrote the Off Campus series, a set of hockey romances, which I’m not arguing is literature or anything, but it’s just a rite of passage to read them. This series starts out with the daughter of two of the Off Campus characters who also plays hockey in college, making this series set in 2040ish. The other two books in this trilogy are about her friends. Again, not life changing, but a good book to read in the middle of complicated fantasies.

March:

  • 4 – Wild Side by Elsie Silver | I am counting down the days to this one! This is Elsie Silver’s 3rd interconnected standalone series (I’ve read them all oops), and this one is all single parents. Wild Side is about characters we’ve heard about since the first book, and I am predicting enemies to lovers but also fake marriage. Lots going on, so it’s sure to be a top book of 2025 for me.
  • 25 – King of Envy by Ana Huang | This will be the 5th book in Huang’s Kings of Sin series, and I would not call these literature but they are a fun time. Each book features a billionaire that is angry and reclusive and would never love anyone else. Just feels like a soap opera in the best way.

April:

  • 8 – Enchantra by Kaylie Smith | This is the follow up to Phantasma, a darker version of Carnaval. This world is full of games, and this book is no different, featuring a maze of marble and thorns, Enchantra. Our main character is doing her best to rescue her family and must team up with a handsome yet morally grey man. Again, not life changing, but this sounds fun!
  • 15 – Bridesmaid by Chance by Meghan Quinn | Meghan Quinn writes some of the best rom-coms and she cranks them out. This will be her second of the year and the third in her Bridesmaids series. These are just fun books that make you laugh and poke fun at the craziness of the wedding industry. Will be a great beach read if you have a trip planned!

May:

  • 6 – Camera Shy by Chelsea Curto | This is the final book in a cute sports romance interconnected series. These are just so much fun and are perfect for a summer pool read. These books cover all the essential romance book tropes and are just a good time. They are on the spicier side btw! Feels like if Elsie Silver wrote sports romances…
  • 13 – What Sleeps Within the Cove by Harper L. Woods | What Lies Beyond the Veil has been on my TBR for years at this point and I am determined to cross it off this year. This is the fourth book in that series, so May 13 is my deadline to read the books I guess. In the first book, we learn that there is a veil protecting the citizens from the fae but it has shattered and unleashed the fae on the world again. There is lots of romance and what seems to be a super adventurous and unique plot.
  • 20 – Rewind It Back by Liz Tomforde | Another top contender of the year! The Windy City series is all about professional athletes in Chicago, and this one is about Rio, who we’ve all been waiting for since the first book. Rio is the jokester of the friend group and seems to be everyone’s wingman, best friend, and caretaker. The description hasn’t been released yet, so we don’t know anything about the love interest. However, Liz Tomforde has not missed yet in this series, so I’m sure it’ll be great!
  • 27 – The Wrath of the Fallen by Amber Nicole | The Book of Azrael has been all over my TikTok and this is the fourth book in that series. The Book of Azrael is an urban fantasy (modern technology with the magic system) and follows Dianna and Samkiel, two enemies that must work together to save not only their world but all others.

June:

  • 17 – Gloves Off by Stephanie Archer | This is the fourth book in the interconnected Vancouver Storm world, one that has been all over my For You page. This is a fun hockey world that has cute covers and sweet romances. Gloves Off is a marriage of convenience, hate you but really love you story. I plan to binge all of these before this release. I’ve almost been saving them because I’ve heard such good things and I know I’ll love them.

July:

  • 15 – The Nightshade God by Hannah Whitten | This is the third book in the Foxglove King world, a gothic fantasy that has such mixed reviews on Goodreads. @emmyrosam (one of my favs) said to read if you liked the Shepherd’s King duology or the Belladonna trilogy. I really did like both of those and I think the gothic fantasy genre is so interesting. In the Foxglove King, Lore lives in constant fear of being rediscovered by the cult she escaped ten years ago. Lore has a job go wrong and somehow ends up in the Sainted King’s court. Sounds like a good adventure to me!

August:

  • 5 – The Fallen and the Kiss of Dusk by Carissa Broadbent | This will be the fourth book in the Crowns of Nyaxia – wrapping the second of the three duologies in this series. If that was confusing, I agree. Broadbent has said that this will be a six book series, focusing on three couples, with each getting two books. I loved the first two books for their Hunger Games-esque vibe with a huge competition and the vampire aspects were so neat as well. Excited to see how this series progresses!
  • 19 – Love Arranged by Lauren Asher | Lauren Asher simply doesn’t miss. This is our final book in the Lakefront Billionaires trilogy and we have yet to receive a cover or a description. I have read the first book in this series and I really liked it. Asher’s books are really long for romances, but they always fly by for me. This will be a great pool read!

September:

  • 9 – Wild Card by Elsie Silver | Two Elsie books in one year? Talk about winning the lottery! We haven’t even gotten her first release of the year yet, so I have no clue who this one is about. There isn’t a cover or synopsis yet, so I am excited to see who it’s about from the ending crumbs of her March release.
  • 16 – The Things Gods Break by Abigail Owen | The Games Gods Play is the first book in this series and it blew up this year. The most beautiful edition of the book taunted me in my Target for months. The Amazon description says Percy Jackson meets Hunger Games so I was sold after that. Definitely need to read before this release!
  • 23 – A Steeping of Blood by Hafsah Faizal | A Tempest of Tea was an immediate add to my TBR after @rachelcatherine gave it a raving review. This story is such a unique idea, with our main character Arthie’s tearoom that transforms into an illegal bloodhouse by dark, catering to the vampires feared by society. Suddenly, her establishment is being threatened and she has to team up with an unlikely crew and suddenly finds out she’s gotten herself in the middle of something bigger. This is a duology, so it’s perfect if you’re looking for lots of adventure but not 5 million books in the series.

October

  • 9 – The Defender by Ana Huang | This new series is Huang’s first time writing sports romance and I’ve heard nothing but good things about her first book, the Striker. There is not a cover or synopsis for this one yet, but according to Goodreads comments, this will be a best friend’s brother trope!
  • 28 – The Bonds of Hercules by Jasmine Mas | This Greek mythology inspired novel got four stars from my SAS roomie and bestie Is, and she is a TOUGH critic. Reviews say this book is hilarious and that sells me! Our main character is a foster kid who finds out she’s apart of the elite. She goes through all kinds of tests and trials at the Spartan War Academy and is just trying to survive. The second book follows the same character stuck in an even more messy situation. Excited to read!

Below is my Google Calendar I created for all of these releases so you can add the ones you are interested in to your calendar! Just click on the book and hit “copy to my calendar”.

Happy Reading! See you soon!

I’ve picked a bunch that I’m super excited about and I’ll definitely add more as new books release – for new releases, check out my posts here and here! […]
